Outdoor Events in Frisco

The Star, Toyota Stadium, and the PGA of America’s headquarters at Fields draw crowds of their own. Private events tend to happen in the master-planned neighborhoods, where amenity centers host resident movie nights and pool parties.

Youth sports weekends fill the city’s fields, where a tournament scoreboard needs to read clearly in midday sun. Frisco ISD booster clubs hold senior nights and fundraisers. In July, an LED screen lets a pool-party movie start at 7:30 instead of waiting for dark.

Popular Event Ideas

  • Scoreboards for youth tournament weekends
  • Frisco ISD senior nights
  • Pool-party movies in master-planned neighborhoods
  • Product launches
  • Overflow seating for a packed church service

Planning an Outdoor Event in Frisco

Simpson Plaza in Frisco Square is the city’s downtown event space. Neighborhood events stay inside the master-planned communities, at their parks and amenity centers.

A public park or street usually needs a special event permit from the City of Frisco, often 30 to 90 days ahead. Private property, such as a church lot or an HOA amenity center, usually doesn’t. More in the permit guide.

Frisco Questions

How much does an LED screen rental cost in Frisco?

LED trailer packages start at $2,750 for a 12′ × 7′ screen and $3,750 for a 16′ × 9′, with four hours, setup, power, and a technician included. A 20-foot inflatable movie screen starts at $895.

Is there a delivery fee to Frisco?

Usually not. Central Frisco is about 26 miles from downtown Dallas, inside the 30-mile included zone. An address past the 30-mile line adds $3 per mile, measured in a straight line, and your quote shows the exact amount.

How much space does the trailer need?

A fairly level spot with room for the trailer, a path our truck can tow through, and clear space overhead for the raised screen. We’ll confirm your spot from a photo or a map pin.

How soon can you come out?

Often within a week or two, and sometimes sooner. Ask about your date and we’ll tell you the same business day.
